Graduation is one of the most important events that you will remember for the rest of your life. This day culminates the years you struggled, as a student, to get your degree. Some caps have markings at the back and front; however, for those that do not have one, you can mark it to help you hang the tassel on the correct side. Remember, you want the tassel to hang on the right side of the cap.
The Shoes
People will be taking pictures of you as you walk on the stage. Take in mind that they can take a photograph of you from head to foot, so make sure to wear proper footwear. You can wear from closed shoes to high heels. One more thing, make sure to wear comfortable shoes. It shows in your face whenever you wear an ill-fitted and uncomfortable shoes and believe me, it will show in your photographs as well.
In addition to the whole academic regalia is the underneath outfit. This part is tricky. Some graduates, most especially men, does not give importance to the dress they are wearing under their gowns. Well, let me tell you, you will not be wearing your academic regalia the whole ceremony. So make sure to wear something comfortable.
